I loved driving in my car until 2:15pm on Christmas Day when coming round a bend on Balmore Road I lost control and crashed the car, writing it off in the process. Unfortunately my insurance was only Third Party Fire and Theft so the insurance company wouldnt even get it picked up, let alone give me any capital for the car.

To add insult to injury - which, thankfully, was only whiplash - the tax disc was stolen and before it could be uplifted by a local scrap merchant was set alight. Only in the last few days has the wreckage been picked up by the council and I await the bill.

It’s now been five days since I got my car and it’s only now I’m taking time to post about it. I’ve been driving a lot over these last days and I’m still coming to terms with the new clutch and driving on my own!

Motorway driving is yet to be attempted cos I’m a bit of a chicken and need someone with me!

After passing my test on February 23rd, my new FULL license arrived yesterday in all its pink glory!

Now to buy a car….
