I think I’m finally getting settled here in Tokyo. Trains are excellent and the weather is great. I spent yesterday back at the airport attempting to change my outbound flight but there was no-one from Qantas available for another 5 hours so I left it and will shortly telephone them. Once I left the airport (all in all a 4 hour trip) I visited the Imperial Palace in the centre of town - a magnificent setting. You can see some pictures by visiting my flickr site

Today I’m going on a whirlwind trip to se most of Tokyo’s hot spots - Senso-ji, Shinjuku, Shibuya & Roppongi. No doubt there will be more pics to go up.
